Just a reminder that tick season is among us. Many kids have been finding them on their clothes after coming in from recess. Please be sure to check your child every day after school. Common areas that ticks like are between the toes, back of the knees, groin, armpits, along the hairline and behind the ears.

Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s),

Litchfield Public Schools and Regional School District 6 are pleased to announce Summer Fest!!

Please complete this form by June 4th, 2021 to register your child(ren) for Summer Fest 2021. One registration form is needed for each individual child.

Summer Fest is open to LPS and RSD6 enrolled students that are currently in grades K-4 (or entering grades 1-5 next fall). The morning session will be language arts and mathematics enrichment activities with Litchfield and Region 6 staff. In the afternoon, students will participate in camp-like sessions where they will engage with various activities. Teachers and youth counselors will run camp activities with students in the afternoon.

Summer Fest is at no cost to enrolled students. You may register your child(ren) for any or all of the weekly sessions. Weekly enrollment will be capped to ensure appropriate ratios of staff to students. To be equitable, all interested families will be offered to attend at least one week.

Breakfast/morning snack and lunch will be provided to all students through a partnership with EdAdvance. Students can also bring their own lunch/snack.

Please note that students who attend will need to be dropped off and picked up at Wamogo Regional High School. Families can register for the academic portion only or the full-day option.

We are looking forward to this exciting summer opportunity for the children that attend Litchfield and Region 6!

Any questions can be sent to summerfest@rsd6.org
