Friday, November 22-Students and Faculty should wear Wamogo Red Shirts to school.

Hello,

Each year, the towns of Warren, Morris, and Goshen work with Region 6 Schools, area social services, and private donors to assist local families in need of food, clothing, fuel assistance, or goods in preparation for the winter holidays. For those families who may benefit from this program, we have put together a needs assessment covering the months of November and December, which is used to create holiday assistance packages for participants.

The links to the assessments will be found at the bottom of this email and must be submitted no later than November 12th.

NOTE: Each needs assessment is designated by town, please make sure you are filling out the correct form for your town of residence.

All assessments are managed by the drive coordinator from each respective town hall (see names below), and submissions are kept strictly confidential from outside parties, including donors and schools.

By completing this online form, you consent for this information to be confidentially utilized by the town hall rep to create your package.

Once assessments are collected, the town hall rep may reach out to you for further questions/clarification on needs, and coordinate your package pickup date and location.

This program is designed to help support families based on available resources. Therefore, there is no guarantee as to what or how much will be in each package. Best efforts will be made to equitably serve each family participating.

This drive is open to the towns of Warren, Morris, and Goshen ONLY. Those from out of town must contact their respective town hall to see what programs are available in your area.

If you have any questions regarding this program, confidentiality, or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact your town hall holiday assistance coordinator.

Wishing you and your family a happy and safe holiday season!

It’s time for the 11th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive!

Dear Families,

As in past years, our school our school agrees that every child deserves a good night’s rest. Over the past decade, schools like ours have partnered with Scholastic Book Clubs to support Pajama Program’s mission to help children in need thrive. Together they have donated over 850,000 pairs of pajamas and more than 1.25 million FREE books for kids to have good night for better days.

Please send new pairs of pajamas to school by Thursday, December 5, 2019.

What to donate:

  • Brand -new pajamas in all sizes, from newborn to adult.

  • Pajamas must be a complete set--either a top and bottom, nightgown or onesie.

  • Pajamas for all seasons.

For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Book Clubs will match and donate a book directly to Pajama Program to be distributed to kids in need.

Warmest Regards,

Jennifer Fodor

Attention GCS Parents

We are excited to announce that we will be using Membership Toolkit for our Directory, Volunteer Sign Ups and Communications starting with the 2019-2020 school year.

We invite you to visit https://gcspto.membershiptoolkit.com/home to see everything your PTO has to offer this year. Once you create a Membership Toolkit Account, you will have access to upcoming calendar events, sign up to volunteer, class directories and much, much more.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Go to https://gcspto.membershiptoolkit.com/home.

  • Click on the Register/Login button.

  • Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.

  • Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.

  • Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.

  1. Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information.

  2. Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.

Pick Up Dismissal Procedures

Please continue to use the dismissal procedure that is currently in place. Dismissal is still in the cafeteria, but we ask that you do not arrive any earlier than 3:25 for pick up. Students will be dismissed one at a time at the cafeteria door and there will be no need for the parent/guardian to enter the building. This new dismissal procedure is in effort to make the pick up process go smoothly, quickly and as safely as possible. Please make note, that dismissal changes need to be mailed or called in to the office by 11:00am the day of the dismissal change. This will ensure that your child will be dismissed to the proper location.
